Dear Partner and Brother Nicolas,

On the distinguished occasion of commemorating, together with the Heroic People of Venezuela, the 214th Anniversary of its Independence, this July 5th, we are honored to transmit, in the name of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and in our own, our most fraternal and warm congratulations to you, Nicolás, and to all our dear, courageous and admirable Venezuela.

On July 5, 1811, the representatives of the united provinces of Venezuela solemnly declared their independence from Spanish colonial rule, marking the beginning of a historic quest for Freedom in Our America. That courageous act laid the foundations of a Sovereign Homeland, forged in Struggle, inspired by the libertarian vision of Simon Bolivar, who bequeathed us eternal words: “I want more than anyone else, to see the greatest Nation in the World formed in America, less because of its size and wealth than because of its Freedom and Glory.”

On this glorious date, we celebrate the Dignity and Determination of a People that has never surrendered, that remains steadfast in the defense of its Independence, its Sovereignty and its Right to forge its own destiny, free from imperial interference and threats. Today, as yesterday, the sons and daughters of Bolívar and Chávez proudly raise the Flags of the Bolivarian Revolution, moving forward with determination in every Battle for Social Justice, Peace and Self-Determination.

From this Blessed and Always Free Nicaragua, in this Victorious July, we reiterate that we are together @s, moving Forward, in Unbreakable Solidarity, in Revolutionary Fraternity... Always Free, Always Dignified, Always Beyond!

With the Embrace of Always...

Daniel Ortega Rosario Murillo
