The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led the start of the Chuquisaca National Plan, within the framework of the National Tree Day, which is celebrated on the last Sunday of May.
This initiative, which is carried out hand in hand with the country's small park rangers, represents a strategic policy aimed at ecological and climate restoration of the Nation and is inspired by the conservationist vision that Liberator Simón Bolívar embodied 200 years ago to preserve nature.
In a Presidential Press release, it was detailed that the authorities of the Executive and the Homeland Seedbed joined direct efforts with the land, during a community day in which endemic species and national trees such as the Araguaney were planted, reaffirming the sovereign commitment to protect the ecosystem and restore vitality to historically violated spaces.
The Chuquisaca National Plan is part of the fifth strategic objective of the Homeland Plan, aimed at consolidating an ecosocialist economic model that guarantees a harmonious and integral relationship between human beings and nature.
With a historic goal inspired by Bolivar's decrees to plant millions of trees throughout the country, the project not only promotes active reforestation in the face of climate change, but also promotes environmental education and the protection of local fauna.
Through this deployment of public management, the Bolivarian Government ratifies its avant-garde policy in the preservation of life on the planet and the construction of a sustainable future.
