The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, received this Wednesday at the Miraflores Palace the Secretary of Energy of the United States (USA), Christopher Wright, to review the bilateral work agenda.
During the meeting, they reviewed important points for developing an energy agenda beneficial to both nations, with respect for Venezuela's energy sovereignty and the historic relations between Caracas and Washington.
The president in charge was accompanied by the president of Petrleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón Pérez, and the diplomatic representative of Venezuela to the United States, Félix Plasencia.
Wright arrived in the Bolivarian nation at noon. He was received at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, by the Deputy Minister for Petroleum of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao Vera; the Deputy Minister for Europe and North America of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Andrea Corao Fanía; and the US chargé d'affaires in the Latin American country, Laura Dogu.
