The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, asked the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) for a doctrine, which includes sex diversity and politics, as a fundamental human right.
In the presentation of the balance sheet of the 100 days of work of the Program for Democratic Coexistence and Peace, he stated that “I want to ask the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice for a Doctrine on Diversity (...) We want that contribution to the country, to our country.”
In that sense, he pointed out that “we are going to build what a fundamental right means that I have understood more fully with the Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence, which is the right to be diverse and I apply that not only to sex diversity, but to political diversity”.
