The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, welcomed and welcomed the beginning of the dialogue process with the opposition sector represented in the National Assembly elected in 2015.

“I trust that this process will contribute to building a path for better democratic coexistence between the different political sectors of the country and that it will translate into concrete benefits for Venezuelans,” wrote the president in charge of her account on the social network Telegran.

He also called for all political forces to join this dialogue, always putting the well-being, peace, stability and development of Venezuela first.

In his publication, he posted the agreement signed between representatives of the Venezuelan Government and the Parliament in 2015 in which they jointly announced the completion of the First Cycle of Conversations, after intense days of negotiation that resulted in key agreements in humanitarian, economic and institutional strengthening matters.

After five working sessions in technical panels and five plenary meetings, both parties approved the operating methodology to ensure the continuity of the process and the immediate execution of the commitments reached.

The schedule for the execution of these commitments begins this month of August 2026 with the first official announcements and the implementation of concrete actions. A continuous working mechanism has been set up to monitor strict compliance with each of the signed points.
