The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, this Monday, August 10, carried out an inspection at the temporary terminal being built at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, in the state of La Guaira.
Faced with the considerable damage to infrastructure, caused by the two earthquakes that occurred on June 24, the Bolivarian Government accelerates, through the Venezuela Renace Plan, adaptation work to restore operations, mobility and connectivity with other destinations as soon as possible.
This temporary infrastructure will have operational areas for passenger screening, migration controls, customs service and baggage claim areas.
In this way, construction is progressing on the modern temporary airport terminal designed to provide fast, safe and efficient service, which is expected to be available to the public soon.
