The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, praised the 221-year fulfillment of the oath on the Sacred Mount by El Libertador Simón Bolívar.
From his digital channels, he wrote: “One of the deepest commitments of our Liberating Father was born in Monte Sacro. There, 221 years ago, the young Simon Bolivar swore to dedicate his life to the freedom and independence of our America.”
The head of state in charge added, “today we honor that word that became action, struggle and a libertarian feat that forever marked the destiny of our peoples.”
