President in Charge announced activation of the Plan for Health and Life 2026 in public hospitals

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that in the coming days, specialized services will be activated for the care of patients in the area of cardiovascular health and cataracts in various hospitals in the country, as an integral part of the Plan for Health and Life 2026.
During the activation of the new Nephrology Service of the University Hospital of Caracas, Rodríguez explained that the recruitment of beneficiaries has been carried out through the VenApp (Ven58) and the 1×10 Good Governance System, technological tools that allow us to prioritize the needs of communities directly and efficiently.
For her part, the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Nuramy Gutiérrez, highlighted the importance of this technical and human deployment: “It is an immense challenge that we take on with great responsibility from the health sector; we are going to start at the University Hospital of Caracas, which has an installed capacity to care for patients who require pacemakers or catheterization.”
Gutiérrez said that the placement of intraocular lenses will be evaluated as part of the cure of cataracts, along with other health programs that are being evaluated for immediate implementation.
