President-in-Charge appointed Félix Plasencia as Venezuela's diplomatic representative to the United States

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, this Monday, February 02, appointed Félix Plasencia as the diplomatic representative of Venezuela to the United States.

The Venezuelan diplomat will travel with his team to U.S. soil in the coming days, confirmed the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil.

The statements were made by Gil after the president in charge Rodríguez received Laura Dogu, at the Miraflores Palace, the charge d'affaires of the United States of America from the Affairs Unit for Venezuela, Laura Dogu.

The meeting served to initiate a work agenda based on binational cooperation under relationships of respect.

In addition, Gil commented that “we have reviewed the agenda of peace and respect”. He also highlighted that they talked about energy, political and economic issues.
