The president in charge Delcy Rodríguez calls for the defense of justice as a space for national union

“Justice as a space of national union, a guarantor of the rights of all Venezuelans, without distinction, and a foundation for building lasting peace for Venezuela,” Rodríguez said in a message posted on his Telegram channel.

During the Solemn Judicial Opening Session 2026, Rodríguez insisted that justice is the queen of republican virtues, “with it, equality and freedom are sustained.”

In this regard, he announced that the Bolivarian Government took the decision to promote a general amnesty law that covers the entire political period of political violence from 1999 to the present.

“A law that serves to repair the wounds left by political confrontation since violence, from extremism, that serves to seek justice in our country and coexistence between Venezuelans and Venezuelans,” he added.
