President in charge: Children's Cardiological Hospital reaches 15,000 surgeries

This Tuesday, February 10, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted that the Dr. Gilberto Rodríguez Ochoa Latin American Children's Cardiological Hospital has performed 15,000 surgical interventions to date, reflecting the Venezuelan State's sustained commitment to the health and life of children.

“These are 15,000 families to whom we have given happiness. It's really impressive,” he said from the Comuna 8 Roots of the Rockers in the parish of La Pastora, where he led the Council of Sectorial Vice-Presidents from the Self-Government Room, in this community.

He also reported that the Bolivarian Government is in full implementation of actions to activate the areas of Hemodynamics and the placement of marks.

“We hope in this year 2026 to catch up with the placement of step marks, cataract operations, attention is already being given for the respective checkup to carry out this surgery,” he said.

In this regard, he mentioned the importance of the 1x10 Good Governance System, which has allowed health teams to determine which areas and in which states and municipalities to meet the needs required by the People.

“I want to give the good news that we have already completed the plan to coordinate the public sector with the private sector, to address the surgical debt that we have in the country as a result of the criminal blockade, which we have to overcome and we have to move forward,” he emphasized.
