The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, congratulated the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Military High Command for their deployment and performance during “the terrible external military aggression of January 3.”

“Nobody gave up here. Here we were in combat and that's why I say with my companions: Honor and Glory to the heroes and heroines of January 3, 2026, who fought, who did not give up. Honor and Glory to the fallen,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he asserted that “I know in detail and in depth the performance of the FANB before, during and after the military aggression. I also know the performance of our Public Security Bodies, and we were in constant contact that morning of January 3.

This was stated from the spaces of the Venezuelan Military Academy, in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, where the honors were honored as Commander in Chief of the FANB, together with the Public Security Bodies.

“I bring a very special message from my heart to the soldiers and soldiers, to the police of our country,” he said.

He reaffirmed that he had to assume the Presidency of the Republic “which is an honor, at an extraordinary, complex and complex juncture of the last two centuries of our history. I come with the strength of our history and the power of the Venezuelan people.”

He also stated that he was overcome by “a deep emotion of the honor that you have bestowed on me today by giving me symbolic badges of our Bolivarian National Armed Force, the Command Staff, as well as the replica of the Sword of our Father Liberator Simon Bolivar”.
