The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, convened this Saturday the First National Meeting on the Entrepreneurial and Community Economy, as part of the Executive's effort to consolidate the country's new diversified economic model.
During a social and economic deployment in Miranda state, Rodríguez stressed that the objective of the meeting is to merge the dynamism of modern entrepreneurship with the strength of the communal economy, creating a financial ecosystem that is resilient and sovereign.
“We have to break with the model of the rentier economy,” insisted the president in charge, stressing that the country's stability depends on robust domestic production and an efficient distribution of oil surpluses to the most urgent needs of the population.
He pointed out that oil revenues are going to be reserved to serve and provide social protection to the Venezuelan people, “and we are going to concentrate it for the services of our people, but the development of the economy in all its engines, as conceived by the president (Nicolás Maduro), the development of the economy in an integral way”, must come from the communal economy, in strategic replacement of imports.
