President in charge Delcy Rodríguez: In January 2026, domestic consumption grew by 32%

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, confirmed that during the month of January 2026, national consumption grew by 32% compared to the same month in the year 2025.

In that regard, he affirmed that it is an indicator that reflects the capacity of the Venezuelan people to recover in the face of the most difficult situations and challenges that the country has faced.

From the Comuna 8 Roots of the Rockers in the parish of La Pastora, where he led the Council of Sectorial Vice-Presidents from the Self-Government Room, of this community, he emphasized that “the People have the capacity to resist, but above all to move forward”.

“These are important numbers to show. Also, the full supply that exists in the country for the peace of mind of our people and that this supply also gives us a guarantee and security that we now have 116 days in reserve. We grew five days in the food reserve,” he said.

He asserted that this point is important, “after the illegitimate aggression of January 3rd against Venezuela, we were able to respond because we had and have food reserves. It is very important that we can always guarantee the issue of food for all of Venezuela.”
