President in charge: To date, the Venezuelan people have 176 Dialysis Rooms at their disposal

This Tuesday, January 27, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that the Bolivarian Government has so far managed to make available to the Venezuelan people a total of 176 Dialysis Rooms throughout the country.

This was stated during the inauguration ceremony of the Nephrology Service of the University Hospital of Caracas (HUC), where he emphasized that the Bolivarian Government continues to promote that health centers are fully equipped to meet the needs of the people.

“I am very pleased with this wonderful idea by President Maduro of the Together Everything Is Possible Corporation, to address the most heartfelt social wounds left by the economic blockade against Venezuela in the area of health, education, infrastructure and services,” he said.

The new Nephrology Service of the University Hospital of Caracas is a 1,000-square-meter project rehabilitated with state-of-the-art technology. The president in charge, accompanied by Dr. Luis Lira Arocha, director of the Hospital and the head of the Service, Dr. Anabela Arminio, tours the new facilities that have 11 dialysis chairs, specialized operating rooms and offices, with a capacity for more than 5,000 monthly hemodialysis sessions.
