President in Charge: Venezuela will demonstrate its democratic exercise on March 8

The President in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during the first Council of Sectorial Vice-Presidents, announced the success of the preparatory phase for the next National Popular Consultation to be held on March 8.
“I call for the formation of the electoral structure with a view to March 8, so that the Campaign Commands can be formally established and the entire electoral structure activated to ensure the success of the process. Venezuela must demonstrate its democratic exercise in 2026 on March 8,” he said.
Rodríguez highlighted the commitment of the organized people, reporting that, to date, 99% of the meetings held for the selection of projects that will be put to the vote have been reached.
The President in charge stressed that in this process, projects are valued in economic transformation and in the transformation of the human city. In this regard, he made a direct call to participate in this first consultation of 2026.
The meeting in the Los Mecdores sector reaffirms the community management route, where the people have the power to decide on resources and projects that directly impact their quality of life.
