The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, visited the Jamnagar refinery, in the Republic of India, as part of her official work agenda aimed at strengthening energy cooperation and consolidating strategic alliances in the hydrocarbons sector.

Upon arrival, Rodriguez was greeted by representatives of Reliance Industries Limited, the company that owns the complex, including Debangsu Ray, president of the cluster and director of manufacturing in Jamnagar, and M.B. Kishore, president of the refinery's Special Economic Zone.

The inspection of the refining complex, considered the largest in the world, is part of the actions promoted by the Bolivarian Government to strengthen the Hydrocarbon Engine and advance the positioning of Venezuela as an international oil and gas power.

The president in charge was accompanied by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, the Minister of Popular Power for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao, and other Venezuelan authorities who are part of the official delegation.
