This Saturday, the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), thanked the solidarity expressed from different parts of the world, after the assault on the Aztec embassy in Ecuador.
“We respect the brotherly people of that country and we ask our compatriots to behave very prudently to avoid harassment and not to fall into any provocation,” wrote the head of state.
He also stressed that “we are aware of the diplomats of our country, they are not alone. They showed dignity and decorum, as was evident.”
