President Maduro celebrated the culmination of the dialogue for the preparation of the electoral calendar proposal

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated the culmination of the dialogue process for the preparation of the electoral calendar proposal, in which all the sectors that live in the country participated.

From the immediate vicinity of the Botanical Garden, the Head of State described this as positive and added that it is the most comprehensive, complete and inclusive “that we have ever done in Venezuela”; at the same time he explained that an agreement was signed with all political, religious, cultural, intellectual sectors, with all social, trade union and labor movements; all sectors of the economy”.

The president indicated that the signed document was called an agreement on general principles of the calendar and application of electoral guarantees for the 2024 presidential election, “I dared to call it a comprehensive Caracas agreement, now we are guided by the Caracas agreement,” he added.

He also congratulated the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, “for this dialogue (...) an inclusive dialogue; this dialogue has included all the documents signed in Norway, Mexico, Barbados, but it is a dialogue and a superior agreement”.
