President Maduro celebrated the day of the artisanal fisherman

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated the day of the artisanal fisherman on his Telegram channel, whom he recognized for their work and role in consolidating the productive economy.

The head of state explained that this important sector celebrates its day “demonstrating its capacity for organization, work and daily effort to consolidate the productive economy of Blue Venezuela.”

He also recalled that “neither the oligarchy, nor the surnames, took into account the fishing sector, Commander Chávez had to arrive to protect and support them with the Fisheries Law.”

“Venezuela is being reborn thanks to you, men and women from the seas and rivers who have been at the forefront of food sovereignty, developing their export vocation. They have a Government that will continue to improve comprehensive care plans for the fishing community. A big hug brothers and sisters! May the Virgin of the Valley bless you!” , he wrote.
