President Maduro celebrates ratification of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, celebrated this Friday the ratification of the Board of Directors of the National
Assembly (AN), chaired by Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, for the period 2024-2025.
“I congratulate the new Board of Directors of the true and only National
Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for the period
2024-2025, who today confirm their commitment to being faithful defenders of
a historic cause and a project of the Fatherland,” said the head of state
through his account on the social network X.
In this regard, he urged the representatives of the Parliament to
continue “with humility to connect with ordinary men and women, with their
needs and truths, because you too are a people, a fighting people and a patriot.
You are the popular expression in the Legislative Branch!” , highlighted.
By an obvious majority, the AN ratified the
members of its Board of Directors in office, at the beginning of the Legislative Term,
on January 5, as established by the Constitution of the Republic, as follows:
1. Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, president.
2. Deputy Pedro Infante, first vice-president.
3. Deputy América
Pérez, second vice-president.
4. María Alejandra Hernández, secretary.
5. José Omar Molina, undersecretary.
