President Maduro denounced the new kidnapping of Venezuelan children in the United States to the High Commissioner for Human Rights

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that he has made new contacts with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk to report new cases of kidnapping, by the United States government, of Venezuelan children.

During a coordination meeting with State security agencies, from the Miraflores Palace, the Head of State indicated that these serious cases were discovered in recent days. However, he expressed little hope that this official will do anything for our compatriots.

“We all know the cowardice of the High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk. A 2-year-old girl kidnapped us, I called him to inform him and he didn't do anything. I called him for 253 Venezuelans, workers and he hasn't done anything,” he emphasized.

In the same way, Maduro repudiated that Türk, instead of coming out in defense of Venezuelan migrants, speaks only in favor of the extreme right and its leaders who live in permanent attacks against the country.

“That United Nations organization is being kidnapped by the conspirators, at the hands of the West, at the behest of the collective Western empire. All these institutions are instrumented to be the support that protects aggressions against Venezuela,” he denounced.
