The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that recently the extreme right made plans to create forest fires in areas close to electrical stations and substations.

“A kind of invisible and silent guarimba,” he said, referring to the fact that because of these events, several citizens have already been captured, mostly with drug problems and criminal records.

He pointed out that those captured confessed that far-right groups pay him with drugs to commit these acts. At the same time, he indicated that this method comes from Colombia, specifically from Medellín.

Also, during the Great March of Popular Victory of the April Revolution, he indicated that “there are two types of conspiracy: the one that comes from outside and the invisible conspiracy, which we have managed to neutralize and overcome.”

He stressed that in the face of these cases, the People and the Bolivarian Militia must be alert to report.
