President Maduro described the first day of the National Enlistment Day as “a total success”

This Saturday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, greeted the Venezuelan people after a successful Grand National Day of Enlistment that took place throughout the country.

“Today, Saturday, the start of this day of dynamic reorganization of all the popular, military and police forces of the defensive system was a total success,” the head of state said during a telephone call.

He also invited the continuation of this important day “we continue, as announced, in the main Bolivar squares of the country. I enlist because I love my country; together with your family, together with your community, get ready and join the ranks.”

Later, President Maduro on his Telegram channel added “we have observed in the media and social networks the gigantic expression of nationalism, patriotism and love for Venezuela.”

“All the people who have come to the Bolivar squares of the municipalities at this beginning of a process of enlistment and incorporation into the ranks of militiamen and militiamen, reservists, citizens, who together with their families have taken a step forward to integrate into the national defensive system that the country has built during these years, guaranteeing peace and the full exercise of national sovereignty,” added the president.
