President Maduro: GNP must be the backbone that guarantees peace in the country

The Bolivarian National Police (PNB) must be the backbone that guarantees peace, before, during and after the electoral event on July 28, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

During the graduation ceremony, promotions and decorations of the PNB, the Head of State reiterated complaints about the plans of violence carried out by the right wing to ignore the results of the elections and alter peace in the country.

“The right wing is desperate because they couldn't and will not be able to handle us. When I say we, I refer to this blessed People of God, of Bolivar and Chávez. They want to seek a tragedy, a catastrophe and we cannot afford it,” he said.

On the other hand, he called on police youth to persevere in the formation of values, in organizational schemes, in the endowment to ensure peace and the protection of the people.
