President Maduro highlights the strength of the GNB 88 years after its creation: “More powerful than ever”

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Monday the strength of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), celebrating 88 years since its creation, highlighting the historical trajectory of this essential component of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), which has been a pillar in the protection of the country's sovereignty and stability since its founding.

From Villa Zoila, the symbolic place where the first command of this military corps was established, the Head of State emphasized the importance of resuming the founding values of the GNB, in line with the Bolivarian and socialist project, with the commitment of the troops to the comprehensive defense of the Nation against imperialist threats.

He highlighted the evolution of the military institution over the past 26 years, adapting to new times as a guarantor of the Bolivarian Constitution and a vanguard against external and internal aggressions.

“How many experiences accumulated over these 88 years that we are celebrating today with a more moralized, more strengthened, more disciplined and more powerful Bolivarian National Guard than ever before!” , he stressed.
