President Maduro: History tells of a very powerful organizational capacity of the Red Army

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, exalted this Wednesday the organizational capacity of the Red Army of the Soviet Union, which defeated the Nazism of Adolf Hitler and achieved victory in the Great Patriotic War.

“History tells of a very powerful organizational capacity of the Red Army and, at the same time, of its potential to go to the counteroffensive and to an offensive that was devastating in record time, allowing it to repel the most brutal attack that any country in the world has ever received,” said the Venezuelan Head of State on his social networks.

The Dignitary is in Moscow to participate in the commemorative events for the 80th anniversary of Victory Day. In this context, he met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, with whom he signed an Agreement on Partnership and Strategic Cooperation, which establishes a framework for collaboration for 10 years between the two nations.

“We come to commemorate in style the 80th anniversary of the # Russian people and the peoples of the # Soviet Union giving humanity the greatest victory against Nazi-Fascism,” he said.
