President Maduro: I told Guterres that the US attitude is bellicose and colonialist

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Wednesday, December 17, commented on his conversation with the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres.

In this regard, the head of state said that “I explained to him what has happened since the increase in threats from the United States government and what they have said when they say that all our resources belong to them, in addition, what we have never heard, that our lands also belong to them, and we must return them to them.

“It's simply a bellicose and colonialist claim,” he said.

He argued that “the truth has been revealed, a change of regime is intended to impose a puppet government on Venezuela, which will only hand over our Constitution, our sovereignty and turn the country into a colony.”

In that context, he emphasized that “that will never happen, Venezuela will not be a colony, ever.”
