President Maduro lays the foundation stone for the third stage of Ana María Campos Park in Zulia

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro laid the foundation stone for the third stage of the Ana María Campos Monumental Park in the city of Maracaibo in the state of Zulia.

“I deliver the second stage and we are going to the third stage of the Ana María Campos Park (...) the first thing is to bring La Chinita to combine art and architecture,” he said when placing the marmolina stone, which he pointed out will be the memory of the beginning of the works of that stage.

The Third Stage of Ana María Campos Park will begin with the construction of the Monument to La Chinita and in that order of ideas, the Head of State thanked the architects, artists and the jury for the concept when choosing the winning proposal, which is 50 meters high, which tells the story of the apparition of the Virgin.

On Friday night, the Head of State handed over to the town of Zulia the completely completed second stage of the park. This is an area that has an amphitheater, courts for Creole balls, terraces for spinning tops and a frisbee court.
