The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, urged this Friday to raise the flag of Gran Colombia as the bicentennial legacy of the Father of the Fatherland Simon Bolivar.
“For us, those of us who seek the Dawn, those who create the new dawn, victory is not a promise, it is a design of destiny,” said the Head of State in a message released on his Telegram channel.
In his publication, he added: “Let's embrace the original flag of Colombia la Grande, the one given by Liberator Simon Bolivar, 200 years ago, to the victorious Army, declaring it the winner.”
