President Maduro: Let's trust in the police, military and civil merger to move forward

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, invited the population to trust in the police, military and civil fusion and in the country's constitutional capacity to move forward independently and in a sovereign manner.

“Prudence advises us not to trust anything on the oligarchy and the empire, but on our police and military fusion and on the constitutional capacity of this country to move forward independently and without looking to the sides, but looking forward,” he said.

The head of state pointed out that “this is the 32nd election in 26 years, no one can say it, only Venezuela, the besieged, the attacked (...) Next Sunday, May 25, with all the power of God the Father Almighty, is set to be a day of peace, stability, participation and sovereign decision.”

In that sense, he specified that power in Venezuela is held by “female voters, citizens, ordinary people. You have the power, woman, man, you have the power. You have the power. And you are responsible for ensuring that there is peace in Venezuela. In your vote is the guarantee of peace.”
