The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that on July 29, after winning the presidential election, he will sign a decree calling for a great national dialogue so that the country continues to move forward on the path of development and progress.

During a meeting with the different leaders of the opposition who recently declared themselves independent and expressed their support for the presidential elections on July 28, the Head of State indicated that this agreement will cover the economic, political, cultural and social areas.

“When I talk about the great dialogue, it's with the experience we already have. I value this vote of confidence that you are giving me as opposition leaders. I swear to God and my life that I will not fail you,” said the President.

On the other hand, the President indicated that the Bolivar is gradually recovering its real value based on national wealth. “Bolivar is recovering. Regaining its historic space, it is no longer overvalued by the price of oil as it was for decades. We have built a virtuous system of a new economy,” he stressed.

In this regard, he called on all Venezuelans to work for the country's progress and peace. “Let us not allow ourselves to be robbed of the right to peace, the right to the future,” he said.
