President Maduro on the conviction of Bob Menéndez for corruption: He has been a protector of opposition extremism

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a live broadcast on his social network Tik-Tok, highlighted that the former US senator, Bob Meléndez, sentenced to 22 years, has been one of the protectors of the Venezuelan fascist extreme right and one of the promoters of sanctions, blockades and invasions of Venezuela.

“The promoter of sanctions and protector of the main representatives of the Venezuelan extreme right, Bob Meléndez, was struck by the ray of divine justice, the innocent are protected by God and whoever messes with Venezuela... It dries up,” said Maduro.

The New Jersey Democrat, who protected all representatives of fascism and the surnames of the oligarchy, was convicted of charges of bribery, extortion, electronic fraud, obstruction of justice and acting as an agent for a foreign government in a plot that went on for years.

Meléndez, president of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, used his influence to promote sanctions against Venezuela and Cuba.
