President Maduro ordered the activation of all plans to protect the National Electricity System

From the Simon Bolivar Hall, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, ordered all Security Agencies to activate all plans to protect the National Electricity System.

He emphasized that they have not ceased in their attempt to attack the National Electricity System. “I call for the activation of all protection plans, from the ticket offices of parishes and neighborhoods to large generators and transmitters,” he said.

The National President recalled that last July 28, during the presidential elections, several attacks were carried out that intended to leave all of Venezuela without light.

He asserted that these plans were defeated thanks to the permanent popular-military and police union.

He also thanked all Venezuelans who are inside and outside the country for sending early alerts to guarantee peace in the country.

“I want to thank so many good people in our country who activate their permanent popular intelligence mechanisms and so many good people outside of Venezuela who are waiting and who don't tell what they see,” said the Head of State.

He said that the Bolivarian Government will continue to work, acting to stop the actions that are in full development, “these are perverse plans against our country”, but we have experience to neutralize them.
