During the mobilization in Caracas in defense of peace and Christmas, the president asserted that the women of Venezuela are told respect and dignity, “they are not Venekas, they are Venezuelans.”
In that sense, he invited Venezuelan men to come out in defense of the identity of Venezuelan women. “The group that made that song as insulting, disparaging, horrible as Veneka, muddied it, put it on.”
“Women, I know that you can defend yourself and say that you have never been Venekas, that you are Venezuelans with dignity, beauty, values and spiritual beauty, but every time I see any attack on women I come to the forefront,” she said.
The Head of State, before the song Veneka, asked to see a thousand poems, songs, to face this offense against Venezuelan women.
He emphasized that little by little they are violating the dignity of our women nationally and internationally. “Vexing girls' honor and right to a decent life, poisoning their minds. That is the imperial project and the fascist right, taking away our moral values and destroying the concept of family,” he added.
