President Maduro pays tribute to the martyrs of World War II in St. Petersburg

This Saturday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, as part of his agenda in the city of St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, paid tribute to the martyrs of the Second World War, from the Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery.
During the emotional ceremony, President Maduro made a wreath at the Mother Country Monument, accompanied by Russian authorities.
“Eternal glory to the martyrs!” , exclaimed the Venezuelan Head of State. In this context, he also recalled the struggle of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, together with heroes and heroines for the freedom of the Peoples of Latin America.
He also signed the guestbook of the Piskariovskoye Memorial Cemetery, where he left a heartfelt message of admiration to the hero people of Russia, for having defeated the Nazis in the Great Patriotic War.
