President Maduro presents Red Army rifle gifted by his counterpart Vladimir Putin

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, presented this Monday a Red Army rifle that was presented to him by his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in the context of his visit to the Eurasian nation to participate in the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“It is one of the first creations of the Russian people in the midst of combat (...) carried out by the Red Army and the people's militia, who together saved humanity,” said the Head of State during the 79th broadcast of his program Con Maduro+.
He stressed that Russia “today is making much more advanced elements (...) From a technological point of view, it is one of the most advanced military industries, if not the most advanced today in the world.”
