The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received in the Simon Bolivar Hall a delegation from the People's Republic of China, which came to ratify the ties between these nations.
This illustrious delegation was led by high-level representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, accompanied by the minister of the Department of Social Work, Mr. Wu Hansheng.
In this sense, the meeting reinforces the bonds of friendship and cooperation for this new presidential cycle in Venezuela, for the period 2025-2031.
Last year, Venezuela and China celebrated the 50th anniversary of their bilateral relations, and they did so by strengthening the relations that began in 1974 and were reinforced in 1999 with the Government of President Hugo Chávez, Eternal Commander of the Bolivarian Revolution.
In addition, in 2024, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez paid a visit to that country, after President Maduro signed a very high-level strategic partnership with China in 2023 that enhanced bilateral relations.
These relations between Venezuela and China have recently deepened after the meeting between the leaders of these countries in various matters, mainly economic, political and social.
