President Nicolás Maduro said that the year 2025 has been one of intense work, of important challenges, of collective union and of a collective integrity that has amazed the world.

“We said goodbye to 2025 in a positive way, the inventory of efforts, processes, achievements and goals achieved is long, and it couldn't be any other way for a country that perseveres, works and creates; for a people that never gives up work and puts faith, enthusiasm, joy and ingenuity into every day and everything it does,” said the head of state in a post on his Telegram channel.

He also asserted that it was the year of the broadest and strongest consensus ever reached in our republican history. “We have a plan, flag and history! Happy New Year 2026 to all the heroic people of Venezuela! Long live joy, life and peace!” , he noted.

“We are moving towards the new dawn: the year 2026, in peace, our own, sovereign and creative, as can only the sons and daughters of the Sun of Peru, we, you, the heirs and the heirs of your light,” he added.
