President Maduro signed the decree to eliminate the IGTF payment

This Friday, July 12, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, signed the decree to eliminate the 2% corresponding to the Payment of the Tax on Large Financial Transactions (IGTF).

The announcement was made during his participation in the Working Day of the National Council for Productive Economy, from Simon Bolivar Park, in La Carlota.

The Head of State said that the 2% corresponding to the payment of the IGTF will be eliminated, “but we must increase efficiency in the collection of the other taxes that exist, always adapted to the need to produce more”.

“I am sure that they will produce more, they will have more transaction facilities, the Venezuelan exchange system will be strengthened,” said Maduro.
