The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, signed this Thursday a historic act of full independence of the country from foreign powers, during a meeting with the working class of Petrleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA).

“I sign this act of independence and sovereignty of the Venezuelan oil industry. Gringos, they will never be able to beat Venezuela!” , said the head of state from the headquarters of the state oil company in La Campiña, Caracas.

The President stressed that Venezuela does not kneel, so the United States needs “dragged people” such as presidents Javier Milei and Daniel Noboa, of Argentina and Ecuador respectively, to have plots of control in the South American continent.

In this regard, he called the document signed as an “act of commitment to the anti-imperialist working class” by PDVSA, in the midst of the recent actions of the US president, Joe Biden, in which he cancels the general license that gave the green light to some oil operations for Venezuela.

President Maduro said that the country will no longer be dependent on any power. “Venezuela is a prestigious reference in its resistance around the world, as the Vietnamese told me an hour ago, what admiration do the peoples of the world feel for the struggle we have fought? And I told them: what we have done is good, it's great, but what we are going to do from now on is going to be bigger, it's going to be better and Venezuela is going up,” he stressed.
