President Maduro: This year commercial transactions for Mother's Day increased 85%

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that “in the months to come we are keeping up with the growth of the real economy”,

In this regard, he specified that this year, “compared to 2024, commercial transactions for Mother's Day increased 85%.”

He said that this increase “is a phenomenon of commercial overheating of the country's economic activity.”

“We are taking severe measures to replace imports, avoid luxury imports and establish productive strength, now that we are able to produce everything,” he said.

During the 79th edition of the Con Maduro+ program, he commented that he is constantly monitoring economic matters, since the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, keeps him informed in real time, “of everything, of the meetings and I participate with a call, I listen and make decisions in each of the Economic Engines.”

He said that in 2025, “we are going to have a record of planting and harvesting for all categories.”
