The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, asked his counterpart from the United States (USA), Donald Trump, to ignore the lies made against Venezuela by figures within his administration.
“I am sending you a message; don't let yourself be poisoned any more against Venezuela. They poison him every day with lies,” she said from the state of Aragua where she attended the swearing in of Joana Sánchez as governor for the period 2025-2029.
He pointed out that demonstration of this campaign of lies is the criminalization of Venezuelans and the magnification of the reach of the extinct criminal gang known as the “Aragua Train”.
“Aragua is an example of peace, coexistence and victory against crime,” he emphasized and assured that the Government will continue to combat the obstacles of criminal groups present in the country “until there is not one left”.
