President Maduro to investors: We have the doors open for the whole world to come and produce

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed this Tuesday that the country is open for international investments in hydrocarbons.

During a working day dedicated to the activation of the Hydrocarbon Engine, the Head of State said: “I can declare in full use of my constitutional powers, in full use of my conscience as President Pueblo, that Venezuela is and will be, based on our Constitution and laws of the exercise of our sovereignty and our self-determination, open to all international investments in oil, gas, petrochemicals and refining”.

In this regard, from the meeting room of the Ministry of People's Power for Hydrocarbons, he emphasized that “we have wide open doors for the whole world to come to produce, to win. As we are currently doing with joint ventures, there is good news of sustained step-by-step growth in oil production.”
