The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated Mother's Day this Sunday with an emotional message for women fighters who play such an important role.

“Mother's Day is a day of memories, feelings, thanks, emotions and family reunion. I always have in mind my mother, who gave us so much love and example; she sowed in me beautiful values, faith in God and in Christ the Redeemer,” said the Head of State through his Telegram channel.

The Dignitary stressed that “saying mother is the greatest thing, who gestated you, gave birth to you, formed you, forged you; a woman who has resisted to lead us to triumph. They say that there is only one mother, but for all that I have experienced, I can say that I have thousands of mothers who love me, protect me, help me walk and lead me on the paths of good”.

In this regard, he urged to defend “the mother as one who defends the most beautiful” and “the family as one who defends the Fatherland”.

“To those who have their mother alive, take care of her, attend to her, visit her, be with her, respect her, love her; and to those of us who do not have her in this life, let us always remember her, we pray for them. I send you all my love, admiration and infinite gratitude!” , ended.
