President Maduro: Venezuela's path is to build our own economic model

During the working day of the National Council for Productive Economy, President Nicolás Maduro, assured that Venezuela's path is to build its own economic model.

“We have been articulating a strategy that has started to give early results. We have the example of China that carried out reforms and gave way to an opening and in 30 years it started to walk on the rails of the world economy, it is a great power,” said Maduro.

He argued that today China has a powerful economy. “They built their own authentic engines to ensure development. They created funding, technology and innovation circles,” he added.

The Head of State also highlighted the Russian economy, which went from being in tenth place to the fifth economy in the world and “ will soon be the fourth economy in the world guaranteeing the money for its financing and now leading the BRICS”.

In addition, he stated that in the case of India, they have more than 20,000 sanctions and they have managed to develop space technology and have launched several communication satellites into orbit, “they are the main exporters of gas, it is a 70% desert country and produces all its food”.
