President Maduro: We managed to win the dollar war

The president specified that exchange rate stability has been maintained in Venezuela and a stable exchange system has been built that is not dependent on oil revenues

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, at a day of the National Council for Productive Economy, celebrated the triumph of the Venezuelan economy after winning the dollar war.

In this regard, he specified that in Venezuela stability has been maintained and a stable exchange system has been built, not dependent on oil revenues. “We managed to win the dollar war,” he celebrated.

He also indicated that the Bolivarian Government will continue to fight to keep the Bolivar on a par with the Yuan and the dollar, so that “as time goes by, it will get stronger and stronger.”

With regard to supply, the head of state assured that it went from 80% to 97%, with 94% of domestic production, which is why he indicated that “thanks to domestic production, today we have a strong and robust domestic market; and a stable and growing domestic consumption”.

He indicated that “no country is going to cross the path of economic independence, without a domestic market with consumption capacity, without strong trade based on domestic production.”
