President Maduro: We must know those who have been protagonists of deep Venezuelanism

channel, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, recalled the birth of the writer Aquiles Nazoa, the date that gave way to the celebration of the National Poetry Day.

“We must know those who have been protagonists of profound Venezuelanism, of the values that define our being, the character, the collective personality of a country, and Achiles Nazoa is one of those who continue to nourish the national spirit with his light,” he wrote.

In this regard, he added that “in honor of his birth, we celebrate National Poetry Day, recognizing the work of poets and poetesses, a generation that has drawn in every line the essence of a simple people that is moved by the beauty of everyday life, and that fights daily to build a more humane humanity.
