President Maduro: We reject the fascist act of the Government of Ecuador against the Embassy of Mexico

“Venezuela strongly raises its voice to reject this fascist act against International Law and expresses its full and absolute solidarity with the President, Andrés López Obrador and the People of Mexico,” emphasized the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, through the social network X, referring to the illegal search by the Government of Ecuador against the Mexican embassy in Quito and the kidnapping of the former Ecuadorian vice-president, Jorge Glas, who was a refugee in the diplomatic compound of the Aztec nation.

He described this attack as an act of barbarism by the Government of Daniel Noboa: “Something never seen before in Latin America, the right-wing pro-Yankee government of Ecuador brutally violated international law.”

The Government of Mexico announced on Friday night the suspension of diplomatic relations with Ecuador.
