The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, rejected the actions that the Guyanese government intends to take on the territorial sea in dispute with Venezuela with the intention of exploiting oil supported by a fascist nucleus of Venezuelans and the United States government.

“We see how the nucleus, reduced failed and defeated, has come out to support the surrendered government of Guyana in its illegal task of having a territorial sea pending international delimitation for oil exploitation activities, it is absolutely illegal and Venezuela rejects it, denounces it and we will take all measures to stop the illegal actions of Exxon Mobil and the surrendering government of Guyana,” the Head of State denounced.

He added that the US government 48 hours after this incident, manipulated by a small group of Venezuelan fascists in that country, announced sanctions against Venezuela and the North American company Chevron.
